Kundalini Yoga no doubt changes us. After even one meditation, people report that their world view shifts dramatically. It’s amazing technology that Yogi Bhajan brought to the West in the 1960’s, and we are blessed to be able to access these tools. AND …. the truth is we must have a consistent and committed practice to experience a lasting change in our life.
This is where I come in: support to help you maintain a practice – so that you can consistently access that part of you. I’ve been there – at the beginning of something new, excited to change, excited to commit to myself. And, then….after about two weeks (or less sometimes!) I’m feeling great. I think – why do I need to do this practice all the time?
I convince myself that one day I don’t need to do a practice, and then a couple more days, and pretty soon I’m not doing the practice at all. And I shift back into my old patterns without even noticing, and then I chalk up the whole experience to “that thing didn’t work”, when in truth we needed to commit deeper – to ourselves.
Yogi Bhajan told us this:
“Practice a particular kriya or mantra every single day for the same amount of time. Based on the number of days you do this, here is how it will affect your habits:
40 Days: Practice every day for 40 days straight. This will break any negative habits that block you from the expansion possible through the kriya or mantra.
90 Days: Practice every day for 90 days straight. This will establish a new habit in your conscious and subconscious minds based on the effect of the kriya or mantra. It will change you in a very deep way.
120 Days: Practice every day for 120 days straight. This will confirm the new habit of consciousness created by the kriya or mantra. The positive benefits of the kriya get integrated permanently into your psyche.
1000 Days: Practice every day for 1000 days straight. This will allow you to master the new habit of consciousness that the kriya or mantra has promised. No matter what the challenge, you can call on this new habit to serve you.”
You can choose which Sacred Architecture Program works best for you: 40, 90, or 120 days. I have found from personal experience, and working with hundreds of clients that 90 days is an excellent starting point. 40 days often feels like one is just getting their feet wet. With 90 days, one can confidently venture out on their own, stronger, more whole, radiant.
The program begins with a 2-2.5 hour Sacred Architecture Reading, and we discuss which program would work best for you. We meet weekly with FaceTime or Zoom calls, where we discuss anything that’s coming up, clear any concerns about the meditation/kriya, practice it together, and receive weekly homework practices. You will receive weekly emails giving you more information about different aspects of kundalini yoga and the specific meditation you were given, in addition to music recommendations, videos, etc.!
